Call for bursaries to facilitate and foment mobility activities of researchers in training at the UIB and to promote the dissemination of research results through attendance at scientific congresses and work stays at other Spanish and foreign research centres. These bursaries are funded by Obra Social la Caixa signed with the UIB.

These bursaries may subsidise the following mobility activities:

a) Presentation of papers, preferably oral presentation, at scientific events of relevance (congresses or symposiums) which have a scientific committee that makes a selection of papers based on their assessment.

b) Work stays at other Spanish or foreign research centres for a minimum length of three weeks.

The bursaries will finance mobility activities that may be carried out, at the latest, by 30 September 2017.

Bursaries type a)

The maximum amount to be received by bursaries type a) specified in the first condition is 500 euros for a conference held in Spain and 700 euros for a conference held abroad. Each applicant may apply for a maximum of one bursary, and only one bursary may be applied for per paper.

Registration expenses, living and accommodation expenses and travel costs are elegible for funding.

Bursaries type b)

The maximum amount you may receive for bursaries type b) specified in the first condition of this call is 2,500 euros. Each applicant may apply for a maximum of one bursary to carry out a work stay.

Travel costs and living and accommodation expenses are elegible for funding.
